Summerland Lyrics

Sky on a break, break down, ghost town, shake down beach
Good vibes, blowin' in that Gulf Shore breeze
Saltwater skinny dip waitin' on me, it's hotter in the water, good Lord
Ain't no doubt, 'bout to lay you down on a beach towel
California king style, gonna do it all night, babyBig stars shinin' over Summerland
Sunburn love witha a southern man
Baby, right now I'm high as a kite
Seabirds fly, yeah, I just might tonight
Gypsy driftwood, Shiner bock, kissin' on the dock
Big dipper, slow dance with my hands where the sun don't tan
Don't you worry 'bout the sand
In no time, baby, we'll be slippin' off to SummerlandLay it on back, back to the back of that ragtop Jeep
Blame it on the waves, we ain't getin' no sleep
Fireside crackle kiss, plant it on my cheek, lips on a bottle
I know you ain't a model, but you should be a model
I'm gonna kiss you to 'til tomorrow
And I'm gonna do it all night, babyBig stars shinin' over Summerland
Sunburn love witha a southern man

Baby, right now I'm high as a kite
Seabirds fly, yeah, I just might tonight
Gypsy driftwood, Shiner bock, kissin' on the dock
Big dipper, slow dance with my hands where the sun don't tan
Don't you worry 'bout the sand
In no time, baby, we'll be slippin' off to SummerlandAin't no doubt, 'bout to lay you down on a beach towel
California king style, gonna do it all night, babyBig stars shinin' over Summerland
Sunburn love witha a southern man
Baby, right now I'm high as a kite
Seabirds fly, yeah, I just might tonight
Gypsy driftwood, Shiner bock, kissin' on the dock
Big dipper, slow dance with my hands where the sun don't tan
Don't you worry 'bout the sand
In no time, baby, we'll be slippin' off to SummerlandThe sky on a break, break down, ghost town, shake down beach
Good vibes blowin' in that Gulf Shore breeze

Florida Georgia Line is a duo comprised of members Tyler Hubbard (from Monroe, Georgia) and Brian Kelley (from Ormond Beach, Florida). Their sound combines electrifying, hard-driving rock with honest, expressive lyrics. The Cruise Songfacts explains that both Hubbard and Kelley began playing guitar individually while they were in high school before meeting at Nashville’s Belmont University. They began writing songs together between classes and soon found themselves playing local clubs, quickly building a fanbase. Hubbard and Kelley signed a publishing/production/management deal with Craig Wiseman's Big Loud Mountain record label in December 2011 and released their first five-song EP, It‘z Just What We Do, the following May. "Cruise" is their first single from the collection.
