Jose was a migrant worker
He worked in my orange grove
Jose know he got to lay down low
Or they gonna send him right back home
Get back, back across the river
Back down, down to Monterey
Wetback, workin' to deliver
Grape pickin' up in L.A.
Jose played a wooden guitar
And evenings he would sing and dance
He's on the run
But he has such fun
Jose's takin' quite a chance
A year ago they come to get him
They picked him up on Tuesday morn
But he said, "Mack, I'm gonna be right back
Bring my family with me when I come"
Get back, back across the river
Back up, up to L.A.
Wetback, workin' to deliver
Don't have to go back to Monterey

This is how the words are printed inside the LP cover. Nobody likes the way the whole immigration thing has been handled, pointing fingers, blaming everyone for everything... If everyone would just stop and realize that the problem is basically whether an immigrant has come to U.S.A. legally, or illegally. The mass migrations are planned invasions. Economically, the U.S.A. can only allow for so many to enter each year. If the government would just furnish the proper number of people to work the cases and investigate what is necessarily, and judges (honest judges) to admit the newcomers, and immigration officers to educate them on their road to citizenship (those not wanting citizenship should be viewed as tourist - they come and leave), then all would be right in the world. But that's not how some want it... There's too many criminals making money on this "mis-adventure". That's why it hasn't been fixed, and probably never will be. We're a nation of immigrants, unfortunately we are also the most hated, because of our prosperity. The only way this is gonna end righteously is when Christ returns. Mankind cannot fix mankind, or we would've already fixed it. Pray for the Kingdom of God to come and save us from ourselves. Amen.
