ACRES OF DIAMONDS
Verse 1
Acres of diamonds, mountains of gold
Jewels of silver, riches untold.
All these together, couldn’t but you or me
Peace when we're sleeping or a conscience that's free.
A hear that’s contended or a satisfied mind
These are the treasures, that money can’t buy
But if you have Jesus. There’s more wealth in your soul
Than the acres of diamonds or the mountains of gold.
Verse 2
A rich you ruler in the bible was told,
Worship his silver. And worshiped his gold.
More than the Master. He went away.
Lost without Jesus. For the price was too great
And Jesus was sorry for the young man that day
But you cannot be saved if, you turn the mast away
But if you have Jesus. There’s more wealth in your soul
Than the acres of diamonds or the mountains of gold.
