Between Here And Cancer

i grow a beard,

and shave my head,

tattoo my forearm with the image of a goats head,i sleep til noon,

and button my shirt,

wear white socks sundays when im off to church,i swear off the blow,

and watch where i go,

sometime between here and cancer,i buy a car,

never travel far,

grow thick, head south , and cruise condos down in florida,i turn around

when the going gets tough,

refuse a drink because i feel i have to sober up,i swear off the blow,
