When we were kids

We always thought we'd stay best friends

But now we've all grown up

I never thought it'd be the way it is nowAll the time we had spent growing up

Not knowing who to be

Now I see that I know just how I should feelNow it's all gone

I don't accept the memories

Of the children that we used to be
