Feathery Smoke

I know it's around like a feathery smoke

That I once thought flitted around like a bird

There's a thought that came to me

To follow the light, looking for the light of the world. Can light love?

I know it because I cannot get away from it.In the morning, I awoke

And looked at the sky to a warm, blazing presence

It followed me 'til I lay down for the night

But still like an eye I never left its sight. Can light love?

I know it because I cannot get away from it.
