About the end of my career

I took a case that was turned down

By every other lawyer in town

I said "Your Honor: what does that rule mean?"

It was a rule I already knew:

I didn't get too far before I heard from the bar

A grievance was their command

For sanctions and a private reprimand

Remember always cover up your rear

Don't let the client sell the case to you
