I don’t want no rocks to cry out in my place

I just want to thank my Lord, for His saving grace

I don’t want no rocks to cry out in my place

I just want to lift Him high, and praise His holy name.

The disciples followed Jesus crying in a loud voice

Saying “Blessed be the King” as they began to rejoice

But when the Pharisees among them said “Rebuke them for their shout”

He said “If these should hold their peace, then the rocks would surely cry out!”

And I don’t want no rocks to cry out in my place

I just want to thank my Lord, for His saving grace

I don’t want no rocks to cry out in my place

I just want to lift Him high and praise His holy name.

Now we read it in the bible that in the last days

God will pour out all His spirit to each and every race

And when this Holy Ghost anointing begins to fill our soul

We can thank the heavenly Father for He has made us whole!
