The sound of cars rushing by


is all I have to keep me company at night.

I toss and turn, try to close my eyes,

but nothing seems to block out the light.

I dream of lying in the moonlight.


I dream of sleeping next to you at night.

The heat of the day is coming through my blinds,

so is the sound of the city coming to life.


All I need are some comforting sounds.


All I need is you to be here now.
