Daweh Congo – Militancy
**[Chorus]**
I say practice the militancy, oh yeah
Instead of just chatting away, oh yeah
'Cause only Binghi warriors we recruiting in JAH army, oh yeah
Practice the love and ninety, oh yeah
Don't be no stumbling block in the way, oh yeah
We must observe the commandments of Haile Selassie I, I say, oh yeah
**[Verse 1]**
Now watch this impressionist
False pretence, foolishness
The eyes of JAH are everywhere, so you prepare
Now cover your mouth and drop the lip service
Words of a fool is his destruction, don't believe her promise
**[Chorus]**
Only practice the militancy, oh yeah
Instead of just chatting away, oh yeah
'Cause only Binghi warriors we recruiting in JAH army, oh yeah
Now practice the love and ninety, oh yeah
Don't be no stumbling block in the way, oh yeah
We must observe the commandments of Haile Selassie I, I say
**[Verse 2]**
Betrayal is among the two of us, some a wolf and some a fox
But you cannot accuse another
That's a good you can try, never do to transgress
Never see your brother's faults if your life is in a mess
Come on and...
**[Chorus]**
Practice the militancy, oh yeah
Instead of just chatting away, oh yeah
Only Binghi warriors we recruiting in JAH army, oh yeah
Practice the love and ninety, oh yeah
Don't be no stumbling block in the way, oh yeah
We must observe the commandments of Haile Selassie I, I say, oh yeah
**[Verse 3]**
Now watch out now impostor
You see, JAH pollution shall never enter
The kingdom of JAH is near, so you beware
'Cause JAH is judging and He knows every heart
Hypocrites will be dismissed, 'cause JAH shall say depart
**[Chorus]**
Come practice the militancy, oh yeah
Instead of just chatting away, oh yeah
'Cause only Binghi warriors we recruiting in JAH army, oh yeah
Practice the love and ninety, oh yeah
Don't be no stumbling block in the way, oh yeah
We must observe the commandments of Haile Selassie I, I say, oh yeah
**[Verse 4]**
Now I say stand at attention, sir
I ask you a question, give me an answer
Are you genuine or are you a traitor?
Why did you sell your little sister to the stranger?
Shouldn't give away your bigger brother
**[Chorus / Outro]**
Oh, practice the militancy, oh yeah
Instead of just chatting away
'Cause only Binghi warriors we recruiting in JAH army, oh yeah
Now practice the love and ninety, oh yeah
Don't be no stumbling block in the way, oh yeah
We must observe the commandments of Haile Selassie I, I say, oh yeah
