Over and over I set myself up for a fall

Dreaming the way, all in my head it goes on

Thoughtful remarks are assured and he might kiss my cheek

But all that remains only a part of a dream

Over and over I play all the parts of the score

Sweet things he'll say to me, but this remains

Only part of my imagination

And why would he get in my head

To know what I think

And know what I like

Just so he wont let it happen

It's so mush easier to blame it on the old boy

At least that way it's not me they try to avoid

It's just 'cause of Murphy's Law
