Sinner's Plea

As I was walkin'down a country road one day I saw a man kneel down on his knees and pray. I paused for just a moment before on my way and as I paused for this moment I could hear the poor man say. Jesus don't come down. Wait another day. I know that I'm not ready to meet you this way. I know that I once knew you but from you I did turn and I know that if you should come forever I would burn. As I turned to walk away tears was in my eyes. I wondered if the Lord had heard this poor man's cry. Or could it be accordin' to Genesis 6:3 that His spirit would no longer set this poor man free.
