I close my eyes and hear the screams outside
They are coming for my crown
Let them try to take me down
But I am not going out without a fight
I stated from the ground
Did everything I could to get myself to the top
I was an underdog
I was like a god inside their eyes
They held me up
Up so high
But once I got the world inside my hand
They turned their backs on me
And placed spotlight right in front of me
One mistake and they want to tear me down
But I am not going to be pushed around
They can try to take away my throne
But I got here in my own
They can try to take away my crown
But I will protect it with all I got
I close my eyes and take a breath
I lay down my crown and make a stand
All I ever did was for the best
To protect my kingdom I took no rest
No crown I asked for when I was growing up
But once I got it, I embraced it with my life
