It’s a little known fact
That there’s all kind of nuts that fall down from the tree
But I’ll leave all of them, for the climbing monkeys
But there’s only one nut that comes from the ground
I’m sure all of you have seen ‘em around

Well I can’t complain because there are many other people that have got it much worse than me
Like being allergic to ice, how would you play hockey?
At the baseball game they’re selling in the aisle
Ice cream and chips but all the while
Peanuts are all around, I wish they’d put them back into the ground

When I ride the bus there’s always somebody eating peanuts all by themselves
