She came to me in a vision as I lay sleeping
Held close in her hands was my heart for her keeping
and as she drew near ,I asked her her name
She just smiled and her breath licked out at me like an invisible flame
And I was burnt
Vibrant and clear,was the music of the night
She held me near,and I had no wish to fight
and as we embraced, the world spun round and round
then slowly we sank down to the fiery ground
Her spell was cast
She danced away,to the edges of the clearing
Though i knew not the time,I could tell that dawn was nearing
and as she moved,I saw symbols forming
all around in the air,that her motion was warming
Climbing to my feet,I asked her to stay
she just smiled and disappeared into the grey mists of the day
and she was gone.
It was just a dream.
