Oh we used to have an army and we had an air force too

And we had a little navy somewhere on the ocean blue

But now there's something that I've just got to tell yer

We've been integrated by our Mr. Hellyer!

The traditions are all dead

Now there's just one force instead.

Now it's three cheers for the Nairmy

The Canadian defense force

We've fouled up all the officers, they've baggered up the ranks

They have brigadiers in battleships and admirals in tanks

They got tunics made of khaki, and pants are navy blue

So if you don't know what to be, on land or air or on the sea

The Nairmy is the place for you.
