Up from the depths we called him
And the Lord reached out His hand
His love fell down like water
Blessed rain for a barren landWe will not hide Him from the children
We will teach them to know His grace
For the Lord has wondrous mercy
For the ones who seek His faceTeach, teach the children
Teach, teach the childrenCHORUS
That with the Lord, there is mercy
And with the Lord, there is love
And with the Lord, there is redemption
And with the Lord, justice and peace
Teach the children to sing of his loveNo one but God is holy
There is none but the Lord above
Let the children hear the story
Of our God and His wondrous loveNow let the young ones praise Him
Fill this place with a joyful sound
Let the children call upon Him
Seek the Lord while He may be foundTeach, teach the children
Teach, teach the children(repeat chorus)He sees them, he loves them
They will not fear the fall
The children who trust Him
They fear no one at allTeach, teach the children
Teach, teach the children(repeat chorus)
