There are multiple artists known under the name of Monotone. 1) Monotone is a name variation for Michael Burkat a.k.a. DJ Monotone, a German techno DJ and producer. Here's a link to his MySpace profile. 2) Monotone is a Belgian trance project, which was active in the period of 1998-2001. The project released several vinyl singles, but vanished into thin air after 2001. 3) Monotone is a Russian ambient project led by Serge G.
