Born on September 12, 1956 and died on April 1, 2003 - Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing / 張國榮 was a Hong Kong actor and musician. Beloved by many fans, Leslie is known as one of the founders of Cantonpop during the 1980's. Retiring several times from singing, he went into acting and became internationally known from his role in Farewell My Concubine.
