Formed in early 2003, Casey Jones was a side project of the band Evergreen Terrace. The band was originally started by Josh James of Evergreen Terrace, his brother Caleb James, and Josh Smith (former member of Evergreen Terrace). The band wrote several songs then recruited help from Jason Southwel of Evergreen Terrace and John(poops) Howard.
