Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky (Russian: Фёдор Михайлович Достоевский)(November 11 [O.S. October 30] 1821 – February 9 [O.S. January 28] 1881) was a Russian novelist and writer of fiction whose works, including 'Crime and Punishment' and 'The Brothers Karamazov', have had a profound and lasting effect on intellectual thought and world literature.
