100 Ships Lyrics

recorded before Designing a Nervous Breakdown
released in April 2000 on a 7" by Devil in the Woods magazineWell I know feeling strange - sometimes you're feeling strange
Outside she waits
So you know that we couldn't be stopped 100 ships in a parking lot
Where have all the pieces gone?Looking for the edge of the world
Boy you hated his favorite girl
They would travel sideways - sideways in two'sLife makes fools speak in half-truth
Speak in half-truth - drowning away all our time
I never want to say anything to anyone
I've never meant that much to youIt's time to pack my bags and gather all
All of the courage I feel
To gather all the courage of kings the king of hearts
Only last ????????????Looking for the edge of the world
Boy you hated his favorite girl
They would travel sideways - sideways in two'sLife makes fools speak in half-truth
Speak in half-truth - drowning away all our time
I never want to say anything to anyone
I've never meant that much to youFell down in a weak spot

The water always tastes sweet
Life makes fools speak in half-truth
Speak in half-truth - drowning away all our time
I never want to say anything to anyone
I've never meant that much to you

The Anniversary was an indie rock band formed in 1997 in Lawrence, Kansas. The band released two full length albums: "Your Majesty and "Designing a Nervous Breakdown" as well as a number of splits. Originally a group of high school friends, Matthew Pryor of The Get Up Kids approached them about recording an album. Designing a Nervous Breakdown was the result. The band broke up on February 6, 2004 despite having a number of songs ready for a third album. Three of the members joined together to form the band The Only Children, taking a few of the completed songs along with them.
