1,000 Times Lyrics

Just because you'll always be
Miles ahead of me
I don't see why I shouldn't try
To catch up with you'Cause in my mind a thousand times or more
I've been there before
There's nothin' I can see
That will stop me, believe meOur time will come
An' I don't think I will let another chance
Pass me byOur time will come an' I don't think
I will let another chance
Pass me byNo, I don't want you to get bored
Like you have a thousand times before
Give me some time
Just to show that I am up to itOur time will come
An' I don't think I will let another chance
Pass me byOur time will come an' I don't think
I will let another chance
Pass me byThere is something that can be done

To bring us back together as one
There is something else I can do
That's why I'm sending this message to you
I will try another thousand times
To bring us back together as one
I will try another thousand times
Till you decide to change your mind
I will try another thousand times
To bring us back together as one
I will try another thousand times
Can you decide to change your mind?
I will try another thousand times
I will try another thousand times
To bring us back together as one
I will try another thousand times
Till you decide to change your mind

Formed by multi instrumentalists Xavier Boyer, Médéric Gontier, Sylvain Marchand & Pedro Resende, Tahiti 80 ’s adventure began in the French cities of Rouen and Paris in the mid 90s. Singer/ guitarist Boyer and bassist Resende formed the pop combo as students at the University of Rouen, sharing an affinity for indie music, new wave and sixties pop. Taking their name from a souvenir t-shirt given to Boyer's father in 1980, the duo recruited guitarist Mederic Gontier, and with the addition of drummer Sylvain Marchand a year later, the lineup was complete.
