12 - Dear Carolyn Lyrics

Dear Caroline by Company Caine,
B side of the single Now I’m Together
Lyrics:
Dear Caroline, I heard you got your own gig in the country. You may be reading this, under a shady tree. It’s been a long time, I thought of you a lot. All those bus rides I never forgot.
The time spent together, and all the plans we made. I had to move on, I didn’t think our love would fade.
Hope you’ll forgive me, I don’t know what to say. I guess you heard from our friends that, I’d moved away.
I might see you again, at Christmas time. You gave me so many thoughts, I could put to rhyme. I wanted you to take my life, and keep it for your own. But you know in my work I have to live alone. I thought by my writing you, you might feel better. I had to do something, so here’s this letter.
Hope you can forgive me, I don’t know what to say, I guess you heard from our friends that I had moved away.
I don’t know what to do, I don’t know what to tell you, you know I don’t, yes I do, I don’t know what to say, I guess you did.
I got a funny feeling it might be alright, I got a funny feeling, it might be good.
