16MM Dream Lyrics

Floating up from the bottom
Words try to find me again
She was bare foot and careless
I was relentless as sinStop frame the colors bleed
Those moments in time I never even seenSmiling with determination
Her eyes betray worries to me
Okay, nothing ain't perfect
But perfect ain't nothing anywayIt all just depends on what you see
My eye is the lens and the camera is me[Chorus]
Those words don't mean much
'Cause I don't believe in me
You're my silent
Sixteen millimeter dream memoryWalking down to the water
Follow the lines on our hands
See ourselves in the bubbles
That wash up our feet on the sandStop frame the colors bleed
Those moments in time I never even seen[Chorus]

I’m highly motivated,” says postmillennial troubadour Jeremy Fisher. “I love getting my hands in there.” The Vancouver-based writer/artist used those hands (which are generally affixed to his trusty acoustic guitar) to shoot the stop-motion footage and fashion the anthropomorphic title character of his $60 homemade video for “Cigarette,” which has became a viral phenomenon of mega-proportions on YouTube, with north of 2 million views as this is written.
