A crutch is something or someone, we rely on too much. They weren't meant to always be there, maybe for a season, we have someone there to help mentor us or to help us grow or to help us make it through a difficult time or to help us raise our children. But too often we think, "This is the way it's always gonna be, their not gonna leave I couldn't make it without them" or "I don't know what I'd do without this friend that drives me around everywhere" what happens is, we become too dependant on that person and if God didn't move them out of your life, they would end up actually hindering our life, and if we don't stay open and realize what gods doing, we'll try to hold on to someone that's not supposed to be there, we'll think, "why are they trying to leave, I thought they were my friend, I guess.. I'm not good enough" No, God moving them out of your life is gonna bring you to bigger and better things. When somebody has served their purpose in our life if we don't freely let them go, it's gonna keep us from the new things God wants to do. God said "I've given you a pair of eagle wings" I dont want you to be pushed around and just admire everybody that's ahead of you and wish that you could do what they were doing, God has equipped you with everything you need to succeed, you can ride higher than you think.
