5 Minutes Lyrics

Five minutes in heaven
Is this all that we get? What a way to go
Five minutes in heaven
Breathe that scream into me, what a sad little showIt feels like love, not some rigged up holiday
Where I believe in somebody who can bring me down again
Feels like love, is this how you make me pay
Branding me with deep cuts that will never go away, never go away?Five minutes in heaven
Did you stage this yourself, every twist and turn?
Five minutes in heaven
What a masterpiece, hey will we ever learn? But it feels like love, not some rigged up holiday
I believe in somebody who can bring me down again
Feels like love, is this how you make me pay
Branding me with deep cuts that will never go away, never go away?
Never go away, hey, yeah, yeah, yeahFive minutes in heaven
Is this all that we get, just a shadow, just a screen?
Five minutes in heaven
Would you paint that smile made for me, just to wipe it clean? But it feels like love, not some rigged up holiday
I believe in somebody who can bring me down again

Feels like love, is this how you make me pay
Branding me with deep cuts that will never go away?Feels like love, not some rigged up holiday
Branding me with deep cuts that will never go away, never go away?
Never go away, never go away, never go away, never go away, away

KJ-52 (Jonah Sorrentino) is a Christian rapper from Tampa, in Florida. He was born on June 26, 1975. He's known for two songs addressed to another rapper, Eminem. The name stems from "KJ," which was an abbreviation of his old rap name (King J. Mac) and according to KJ, also stands for "knowledge and justification. "52" (pronounced "five-two") represents the miracle of the five loaves and two fish as told in the Bible. KJ-52 feels he is spreading the word of the Lord in much the same way Jesus shared the food in the story.
He was awarded the Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year for "Never Look Away" and Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards of 2007. KJ-52 also has four Dove awards to add to his 'collection.'
