8:18 Lyrics

Joinin' up the black dotted lines
Driftin' back in space in time
Remember how it used to be?
She said, she said, she said to me
Steppin' out across a railway line
Drawn to walls of moonless sky
Remember how it used to be?
She said, she said, she said to me
Remember how it used to be?
Don't say there's nothin', nothin'
We can make this happen, happen
All this time you knew
Now it always makes perfect sense
A face of innocence
Sending it all back to me
She did, she did, she did to me
Watchin' those blue eyes turn to green
Every second, every blink

Remember how it used to be?
She said, she said, she said
Don't say there's nothin', nothin'
We can make this happen, happen
All this time you knew
Don't say it's over, forgotten
We can make this happen
Happen, happen, happen
Swallow the words, swallow the pain
All we've broken, all we've made
All forgiven, always sane, he's sane
He's sane, he's sane, he's sane
Joinin' up the black dotted lines
Driftin' back in space in time
Remember how it used to be?
Don't say there's nothin', nothin'
We can make this happen, happen
All this time you knew
Don't say it's over, forgotten
We can make this happen
Happen, happen, happen
