A Letter To Both Sides Lyrics

Breach of my rights, what am I left
After you've taken from me
My freedom of speech
Or the light through my window
Just because you can't seeShould be heard by the deaf
Seen by the blind
Those who are too frightened to lose, soThis is a letter
A letter to both sides
You're stuck in the middle
(It's) a middle with no left or rightWhat do you feel, how would you say
To the men that sit at the top
That you don't give a damn
But you still need your land, soThis is a letter
A letter to both sides
You're stuck in the middle
It's a middle with no left or rightThis is a letter
A letter to both sides
You're stuck in the middle

It's a middle with no left or rightSome don't have time to see
Man and his wrongs
Others just expect to lose
If you don't have belief
To take hold of yourself
How can you expect to choose, soThis is a letter
A letter to both sides
You're stuck in the middle
(It's) a middle with no left or rightThis is a letter
A letter to both sides
You're stuck in the middle
(It's) a middle with no left or right

The Fixx is a British new wave band formed in 1980. The group was formed by college friends Cy Curnin (vocals) and Adam Woods (drums). The pair placed an ad for additional members. Jamie West-Oram (guitar), Rupert Greenall (keyboards) and Charlie Barret (bass) joined the band as a result. Barret left after the first album and was replaced by Dan K. Brown. They are perhaps best remembered for their song "One Thing Leads To Another", from their most successful album, the 1983 Reach The Beach. Other hits include, "Red Skies", "Stand or Fall", "Saved by Zero" and "Are We Ourselves?".
