A Long Time Gone Lyrics

I'm sorry for all the things I said
The stupid notions in my head
I'm sorry for all the things I've done
I'm sorry for all the pain and grief
I'm sorry for wasting all your time
I'm sorry for taking (what) wasn't mine
I'm sorry you ever saw my face
And now I'm standing in disgrace
I'm sorry I tried to steal your pride
I'm sorry for all the endless lies
And I haven't got nine lives
So I think I've had my time
I'm gonna be a long time gone
Maybe you might miss me
I'm gonna be a long time gone
And I don't know what I'll leave behind
I'm sorry for screwing up your head
Sleeping in someone else's bed

I'm sorry for being so fucking weak
Ashamed that you could be so strong
But I can't promise I will change
'Cause I don't know if I can change
And I'm still scared of fucking up
Maybe I've had my share of luck
I'm sorry for all the shits I've done
But I haven't got a gun
And I haven't got nine lives
So I think I've had my time
And I'm gonna be a long time gone
Baby you might miss me
I'm gonna be a long time gone
And I don't know what I'm leaving behind
You always hurt the ones you leave behind
I'm gonna be a long time gone
