Both scorning and fighting Philadelphia area’s cover band scene, “pop-punk” bands, and solo guitarists who think they’re Jack Johnson or Dave Matthews, Your Secret Identity is Jay V Cruz’ pop-alternative music project. A solo artist by necessity, he created Your Secret Identity to produce his songs as full-band arrangements. In June 2006, he finished his four-track EP, entitled By The Way. The independently released EP pulls together songs written over a four-year span as an introduction to the forthcoming full-length album.
