A Lover's Holiday (LP Version) Lyrics

Not a cloud showed out in the sky
That very night in Pitch Black City
I was so damned scared, it was dark
It was so dim, it was a shameJust then a man walked up to me and said
Didn't I see you here before
The lights were low and the party was so dull
Just not good enoughHoliday
(Ey, hey, hey, hey, hey)
Holiday
(Holiday, what you say?)
Holiday
Celebrate
(Ah yeah)Holiday
Holiday
(Alright)
Holiday
CelebrateThen we both held hands in each other's
For a chance to start it moving

He reached deep inside of his vest
And in his hand he held a ringLet's have lunch
Picnic or a brunch in the wintertime
Let's disco down in a rollerskating
Ring in Alaska townHoliday
(Holiday)
Holiday
(Come on, come on celebrate)
Holiday
(Woo, woo, woo, woo)
CelebrateHoliday
(Got the feeling, come on, keep ahead)
Holiday
(Reelin' holiday, yeah, yeah)
Holiday
CelebrateNot a cloud showed out in the sky
That very night in Pitch Black City
I was so damned scared, it was dark
It was so dim, it was a shameJust then a man walked up to me and said
Didn't I see you here before
The lights were low and the party was so dull
Just not good enoughHoliday
Holiday
Holiday
CelebrateHoliday
Holiday
Holiday
Celebrate

There are at least four bands/artists with the name Change: 1: This great band is one of the best, but also one of the most underrated ensembles in the soul, disco and R&B genres during the first half of the 80s. They created a catchy, smooth and polished disco, and later R&B and pop funk sound, with a touch of heaven. Here is the story about the group that might let them shine a little bit longer and perhaps do so for new music lovers as well, they certainly deserve it!
