A Night to Remember Lyrics

Get ready, tonight
Gonna make this a night to remember
Get ready, oh, baby, tonight
Gonna make this a night to rememberWhen you love someone, it's natural, not demanding
And that's one thing I'm proud to say I've found in you
I'm so glad we've reached an understanding
Now I know my heart is safe with you
So now my love to you, baby, I surrenderGet ready, tonight
Gonna make this a night to remember
Get ready, oh, baby, tonight
Gonna make this a night to rememberCelebrations in the heart 'cause we're united
And there's nothing in the world could come between me and you
We're together and it keeps me so excited
To think of what the power of love can do
And I'm filled with a love that's, oh so tender, yeahGet ready, tonight
Gonna make this a night to remember
Get ready, oh, baby, tonight
Gonna make this a night to rememberYeah, get ready, get ready 'cause we're gonna have some fun

Get ready, get ready 'cause you're with the 911
Gonna take this, break this, then we're gonna make this
A night to remember 'cause, baby, I surrenderCelebration, toast the occasion
Talking about love and true dedication
The hand of love that's, oh so tender
Is gonna give you a night to rememberLet's make a toast to those who've helped make this occasion
They turn their back on love
And that's what drove you straight to me
To you, I make a lasting dedication
I'll show you all the love and life can be
And each day that I live I will deliver, yeahGet ready, tonight
Gonna make this a night to remember
Get ready, oh, baby, tonight
Gonna make this a night to rememberGet ready, tonight
Gonna make this a night to remember
Get ready, oh, baby, tonight
Gonna make this a night to rememberGet ready, tonight
Gonna make this a night to remember
Get ready, oh, baby, tonight
Gonna make this a night to remember

1. British boy band 911 were formed in the early 90s by members Simon 'Spike' Dawbarn (Born in Warrington 5/8/74) and Jimmy Constable (Born in Liverpool 21/9/71). The pair had worked on cult late night television show 'The Hit man and her' as dancers. When they started to receive more recognition than the acts they were dancing for, they decided to start a group of their own. Lee Brennan (Born in Carlisle 27/9/73) joined the band after successfully auditioning for Jimmy and Spike. They were one of only five groups to have consecutive top ten hits in the 1990's and achieved their first and only British number one with a cover of the Dr Hook song 'A little bit more'. The group were, however, extremely popular in the far east. Their first album 'The Journey', stayed on top of the charts for a total of twenty weeks there. After five years together the band split in early 2000. Reforming for a brief reunion tour in 2001 and have got back together sporadically since then, most notably for the ITV show 'Hit me baby one more time' in 2005. Jimmy is now a member of the band 'Upper Street', Spike owns a dance studio and Lee has been writing songs and appearing in panto.

2. 911 is also a Washington, DC, go-go band.
