A Reason Lyrics

Two steps forward, and three steps back
And I don't know where we are
You say it's your way and I'll say it's mine
And we are lost here in the darkNot just a matter of talking it out
You know it don't mean nothing if there's something to hide
And oh, I know you know just what I'm talking about
There's an unspoken hesitation we both really thoughAm I here, am I there
Tell me where I belong
All that I need is a reason
Am I wrong, am I right
Are we saying goodbye
Give me something to believe in
'Cause all that I need is a reasonIt's complicated so overrated
Say all we need is a lie
And my baby believe me, I wish it was that easy
Sometimes love just isn't any rightThis indecision is wearing me down
And I, I can no longer something so undefined
I've got to know if I was lost and then found

This situation has got me crazy, going out of mindAm I here, am I there
Tell me where I belong
All that I need is a reason
Am I wrong, am I right
Are we saying goodbye
Give me something to believe in
'Cause all that I need is a reasonIf you would only just leave your fear on this flower
All that I need is a reason
I'd be the one who'd never let you go and you know that I know
All that I need, all that I need is a reason
All I need, all I need
Yeah yeah yeahAm I here, am I there
Tell me where I belong
You know all that I need is a reason
Am I wrong, am I right
Are you saying goodbye
Give me something to believe in
'Cause all that I need all, that I need is a reasonAm I here, am I there
Tell me where I belong
All that I need is a reason
Am I wrong, am I right
Are you saying goodbye
Give me something
whoa whoa whoa
All that I need
Yeah yeah yeah now
All that I need, all that I need
'Cause all that I need is a reason
