We live in
A room with a view
We make love at
A room with a viewWe found ourselves
A room with a view
We're bound to start
A happy life with loveIf you open the window
The world starts to move
But in this room
We're alone
Just the two of us
Forever just the two of us
Forever just the two of usWe live in
A room with a view
Taylor-made clothes and
Great interior design
A puppy and a television
And a big fridgeOutside our window
In the world out there
There does not seem to be
Any good news
But today again
Just the two of us
Forever just the two of us
Forever just the two of usIf you open the window
And cry out loud
To the entire world
Just the two of us
Forever just the two of usWe live in
A room with a view
'happily ever after'
Sounds really boring
A room with a view

Pizzicato Five (often nicknamed "P5") is a legendary Japanese group that formed in 1984. Arguably the first group to popularize shibuya-kei from underground circles, they also later on began experimenting with the style, with what some called an innovative genre all their own, blending traditional Japanese pop, alternative, soul, funk, jazz, ye-ye, acoustic folk, and early electronic music, among others. They are also perhaps best known to audiences in the west in their later incarnation as a duo of Nomiya Maki (野宮真貴) and Konishi Yasuharu (小西康陽).
