A Sad Lament Lyrics

You came exactly on the hour
You know such precision worries me
I like it but in her mower [unknown]
As you watch me from the balconyTake the stage and take the plunge
Break a leg or a bust a lung
I'll disarm those who carry guns
And neutralize their caustic tonguesThe shattered fragments of a star
Shining with a cruel content
We'll make our way to Tommy's Bar
While whistling a sad lamentThat's what you are
That's what you are
That's what you are
That's what you are
What you are

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

The band's first official show was on April 20th, 1979 at the Victoria Cafe at the Glasgow School of Art. The band released their first singles on Postcard Records records, before signing to Polydor for their first album "You Can't Hide Your Love Forever".
