A Song For You Lyrics

I love you in a place, where there's no space or time
(Dog, Uh! Bizzy Bone, it's the Dog)
I love you, for my life you're a friend of mine
(Bizzy Bone)
And when my life is over, remember when we were together
(Got the Dog and Bizzy Bone)
(Show ya how it's done, aight?)
We were alone and I was singing this song to you
Br-r-r-r automatic, whatever you want to know we got's to cry
That I stand in the back and ready, attack and ready for combat
I heavily heated, weeded, beat it, need it, see it
Get it, get it, get it good, don't get it misunderstood
My homey, only homey, walking and we talking fo' sho
And I'ma be with him in the end with forgiveness no mo'
And remember the words are 'herb perfect'? How could I be worthy?
And when I feel so damn dirty, dirty
My leaning on a leer jet, baby ain't here yet
Henny, caffeine and nicotine, notice I left out the green

Notice I never brake a set, who's that? F kit
I don't even know the chick, I don't even know that shit
Ex me, perplex me, flex on decks man
Chastment, investment, quiet as kept
I say now ex me, perplex me, flex on decks man
Chastment, investment, quiet as kept fair
I love you in a place, where there's no space or time
I love you, for my life you're a friend of mine
And when my life is over, remember when we were together
We were alone and I was singing this song to you
Mad stressed that I can't even sleep where I rest
So now I wear a vest, but what if I don't catch it in the chest?
Then I'm out, just like the light when the power's gone
And there's another tombstone the child's putting flowers on
Long live the dream of making enough cream
Where I won't have to scheme or roll around with the team
And niggas I can't trust that I might have to bust
Over something dumb, know where I'm coming from? Fuck the fuss!
It's too much to bear and every day is getting worse
Got me plotting on my peeps and how to get 'em first
Thirst is something to make a nigga strive and stay alive
So I watch my own back with the black 45
Are they coming? They coming to get us, I'm ready forever
They never defeat ya, they'll never deceit ya! What! Come on!
Are they coming? They coming to get us, I'm ready forever
They never defeat ya, they'll never deceit ya! Yeah! Come on!
I love you in a place, where there's no space or time
I love you, for my life you're a friend of mine
And when my life is over, remember when we were together
We were alone and I was singing this song to you
Tell me, do you remember? 'Cause baby I remember
We were alone and I was singing my song
My homey, only homey, walking and we talking fo' sho
And I'ma be with him in the end with forgiveness no mo'
And remember the words are 'herb perfect'? How could I be worthy?
And when I feel so damn dirty, dirty
I love you in a place, where there's no space or time
I love you, for my life you're a friend of mine
And when my life is over, remember when we were together
We were alone and I was singing this song to you
(Donny Hathaway)
I was singing my song
(Rest in peace, baby)
To you and only you, baby

Bizzy Bone (born Bryon Anthony McCane) on September 12, 1976 in Columbus, Ohio, is an American rapper and member of the rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

Born to an African American/Indian father and an Italian/Jewish mother, Bizzy Bone started in hip-hop as a founding member of the group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Formed in 1993, this Cleveland-based crew first caught the ear of N.W.A. member Eazy-E.

Their trademark double and triple-time sung/rapped harmonies brought something new to the table at a time when most acts were busy trying to imitate what was featured on Dr. Dre's The Chronic. The unique sound prompted multi-platinum record sales, won them a Grammy, and brought the spotlight to the long-neglected Midwestern hip-hop community.

As a solo performer, Bizzy Bone is well known for his high-speed rhyme style and unique singing abilities. Continually writing and recording around the clock, he released his first solo album in 1998, the personal and introspective Heaven'z Movie. After receiving critical acclaim, Bizzy went on to write and release The Gift in 2001, Alpha and Omega in 2004, and The Beginning and the End, also in 2004, For The Fans vol. 1 and vol. 2 in 2005, The Story, Thugs Revenge, The Midwest Cowboy, and From Your Righteousness in 2006. His latest album Ruthless was released on March 4th 2008.

Bizzy's work has been awarded by numerous respected groups, including an ASCAP Award, the Michael Jackson Soul Train Award, a Blockbuster Award, an American Music Award, and the NAACP - Back To School/Stay in School Youth Rally Award. He has become a member of Hip Hop's elite, collaborating with modern hip-hop legends such as P Diddy, Snoop Dogg, as well as the late Eazy-E, 2Pac, and The Notorious B.I.G..
