A Song for the Deaf Lyrics

A song for the deaf, that is for youNobody's comin' down the hall
Everybody echoes in my head
Broken reflection outta luck
Nobody ever needed itI got what was
I want to take what's left
I'm ready nowBeautiful senses are gone
Canary in a gilded cage
SingingSweet soft and low
I will poison you all
Come closer racing to your tongueI got what was
I want to take what's left
No talk will cure, what's lost or save
What's left, for the deafThe blind can go get fucked
Lie beside the ditch
This halo round my neck
Has torn out every stitchWho are you hidin'?
Is it safe for the deaf?
Beautiful, cancer

infiltrate, and forgetThen I saw you comin'
Then I heard not a thing
A mistake not to listen
When I knew where you'd been?I got what was
I want to take what's left
No talk will cure, what's lost or save
What's left, for the deafYou're listening to W.A.N.T
The high desert favorite [Incomprehensible] radio station
It's been a good night, Dave catching here
Not saying goodnight, just saying

Queens of the Stone Age is a rock band from Palm Desert, California, United States. The band is frequently labeled stoner rock, although they reject the label. QOTSA developed a style of riff-oriented, heavy music which the band's founder and mastermind Josh Homme described as 'robot rock', saying that he "wanted to create a heavy sound based on a solid jam, just pound it into your head". Since then, their sound has evolved to incorporate a variety of different styles and influences.
