A Thousand Blue Bubbles Lyrics

One kiss
And a thousand blue bubbles
Turn me upside down
Send me to the skiesOne kiss
And a thousand blue bubbles
They go over me
And under me
And suddenly
I start to riseBiliblew a thousand bubbles?
Big and blue and shiny bubbles
Mixed with teeny tiny bubbles
Send me flying
When you kiss me
... so kiss me
Biliblew a bunch bubbles?
And a bunch of public bubbles?
And a daily flood of bubbles
Send me higher

Yet they never
Put out the fireCastles in Spain
Could not delight me more
Champagne rain
Could not ignite me
Or excite me moreBlew a thousand bubbles
Then a hundred thousand bubbles
Then a thousand thousand bubbles
I can feel them
I can see them
See them fly
[Orchestral Interlude)Biliblew a bunch of bubbles?
And a bunch of public bubbles?
And a daily flood of bubbles
Send me higher
Yet they never
Put out the fireI found some reason
'til it drops again
In the trees
My poor heart stops again
It pops againBlew a thousand bubbles
Then a hundred thousand bubbles
Then a thousand thousand bubbles
I can feel them
I can see them
See them flyingBiliblew a thousand bubblesBiliblew ten thousand bubbles
Biliblew a hundred thousand bubbles.... to fadeNOTE: Made up words: Biliblew (a sound made with one's lips). Arguably: the word Blue / Blew maybe be switched depending on one's understanding of the song especially

The fourth of seven children, John Royce Mathis was born on September 30, 1935 in Gilmer, TX to Clem and Mildred Mathis. As a small boy, the family moved to Post Street in San Francisco. It was there that he learned an appreciation of music from his father who taught him his first song, “My Blue Heaven”. At age eight, his father purchased an old upright piano for $25. When he brought it home, it wouldn’t fit through the front door.
