A Thousand Hallelujahs Lyrics

I've been foolish, I've been mistaken and I've been blinded
I've felt my heart breaking. I've seen lonely and I've seen leaving
Felt like the only one believeing in love, yeah, I've tried love and that's why;I sang a thousand hallelujahs the moment I saw you
Told a million angels I was walking on water
They left heaven open so I walked through that door, then my heart sang:Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah
The moment I saw you my heart sang
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah
The moment I saw you my love.
I remember how your sweet smile broke into a laugh and how it drove me wild.
I've found faithful new relations,
Found my meaning, meaning of living for your love,
That's why, my love, that's why:I sang a thousand hallelujahs the moment I saw you,
Told a million angels I was walking on water,
They left heaven open so I walked through that door, then my heart sang:Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah,
The moment I saw you my heart sang, Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah,
The moment I saw you my love.I sang a thousand hallelujahs raised up my hands,
I told a million angels that I understand love.Hallelujah, hallelujhah, hallelujah,
The moment I saw you my heart sang:Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah,

The moment I saw you my love,
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah,
The moment I saw you my love,Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah,
The moment I saw you my love.

The Shires, who formed in 2013, are a UK country pop duo composed of singer-songwriters Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes. They hail from Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Ben sings vocals and plays guitar and Bedford native Crissie Rhodes shares lead vocals. The duo fittingly took the band name in order to maintain an English identity and take a small part of England back to America. "Shire" is the original term for what is usually known now as a English county.
