Percussionist André Charlier and keyboardist Benoît Sourisse have been trawling beyond France's borders since the inception of their Charlier/Sourisse project in 2001, recruiting various American artists along the way including saxophonists Jerry Bergonzi and Kenny Garrett, and guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel. André Charlier was born in Verviers ( Belgium) on June 13th, 1962. André began playing the drums in 1978. He has studied in Musician Institute of Los Angeles from 1985 untill 1986. Benoît Sourisse was born in 1964.
