About Her - Leon 78

Leon 78 is Leonid Shalom. Born 1995 in Spassk-dalny, Russia, Leon is a young and rapidly rising new talent in the world of music. Now living in Samara, this versatile and eclectic artist preferred pop music until he heard EDM. His brother showed him the program Ejay, and from there he started making his own tracks.

Leon is fully involved in his music; he can read and write music and plays the piano. These abilities have influenced his most recent tracks as they show a maturity and elegance not always seen in younger EDM artists. His first release, ‘Rainbow of Life’ was on Andromeda Recordings. Since then he’s released Moscow in Autumn (Capite Music,) ‘It’s Snowing’ (Only One Records,) and Hero (Trance-All-Stars Records.)

‘Rainbow in Life’ was also featured on the compilation, Andromeda Rising, Vol. 3. (Andromeda Recordings.)

Other artists which have had an influence on his work include Above & Beyond, Coldplay, Markus Schulz, Gareth Emery, M.I.K.E. and Orjan Nilsen.
