Acrobat Lyrics

It's so hard to not give in to how I feel
I'm so tired trying to be everything
I wanna quit, I wanna start over
I wanna stay here, I wanna ran farther
AwayI feel like an acrobat, I've gotta be strong, I've gotta be fast
It's a balancing act, I've gotta be this, I've gotta be that
I know we all fall down, but before I hit the ground
Hold me now (say you're never gonna let me go)
Hold me now (say you'll never let me go)
Don't look dow
'Cause when I do everything spins around and around
Trying to just breathe in
I wanna let go, I wanna hold on, I wanna jump down
I wanna fall more in love with youI feel like an acrobat, I've gotta be strong, I've gotta be fast
It's a balancing act, I've gotta be this, I've gotta be that
I know we all fall down, but before I hit the ground
Hold me now (say you're never gonna let me go)
Hold me now (say you'll never let me go)

Hold me now (say you're never gonna let me go)
Hold me now (say you'll never let me go)I might break every bone, forget the way to get back home to you
And when it feels like I'm blind, be my light, be my eyes
With your eyes
I feel like an acrobat, I've gotta be strong, I've gotta be fast
It's a balancing act, I've gotta be this, I've gotta be that
I feel like an acrobat, I've gotta be strong, I've gotta be fast
It's a balancing act, I've gotta be this, I've gotta be that
I know we all fall down, but before I hit the ground
Hold me now (say you're never gonna let me go)
Hold me now (say you'll never let me go)
Hold me now (say you're never gonna let me go)
Hold me now (say you'll never let me go)
Hold me now
Hold me now
Hold me now

Singer/songwriter Tiffany Arbuckle-Lee fronted the Dove Award-winning alternative rock band Plumb during the late '90s, and adopted the name Plumb for her subsequent full-fledged solo career. She was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Atlanta, where she took several gigs as a backup singer and wound up touring in that capacity instead of going to college, as she'd planned. She relocated to Nashville, where she landed a record deal based on her session and backup work, and formed Plumb with neighbor/songwriter/producer Matt Bronleewe.
