African Queen Lyrics

Yeah, yeah, you are my african queen, oooh lord, oooh lord
Just like the sun, light up the earth, you light up my life
The only one, I've ever seen with a smile so bright
And just yesterday, you came around my way
And changed my whole scenery with your astonishing beauty
Oh, you coulda make a brother sin, no ordinary thing
A supernatural being, and ooh... you brighter than the moon
Brighter than the star, i love u just the way you are.
CHORUS
And you are my African Queen, the girl of my dreams.
You take me where i've never been
You make my heart go ding-a-ling-a-ling, oh ahh
You are my African Queen, the girl of my dreams
And you remind me of a thing
And that is the African beauty yahhh
VERSE II
Yahh yahh oooo, you are my african queen, oh lord, oo lord hmm
Out of a million you stand as one

The outstanding one
I look into ur eyes, girl what I see
Is paradise yeah
You captivated my soul
Now everyday I want you more o o oo
How can I deny this feeling am feeling inside ey
Oh no one can never take ur place
Can never take your space
That's a fact I cannot erase
And you, you are the one dat makes me smile
Make me float like a boat upon the Nile.
(CHORUS)
VERSE III
oooo ooooo yaahhh yahhh hu hu hu
You are my African Queen and I know, oh yes I know hhn
You are my African Queen and I know, see I know
See I know what I am feeling in my heart and in my soul
Oh I know that it is love
And I know that this love was surely sent from up above
Cause ypu're the only one that I think of
You are my African Queen
And I know that this means that you're the only one that I will serve
I'll give you my heart, my love, my body and my money
Every other thing you think of
In a man
Who could think of anything better than you
Who could think of ever hurting you
Sacrifice my whole life, I'll give it all to you
Cause you are my African Queen
Forreal
(CHORUS)
So black, so beautiful
I love you x5 nnem oh, i love you x3 nnem oh i love you x2, ooohhh yeah
My African Queen, I love you, I love you.

Sizzla Kalonji (real name Miguel Orlando Collins) is a Jamaican reggae musician. He was born on 17 April 1976, in St Mary, Jamaica, of devout Rastafari parents and raised in August Town. He is unusually prolific, even by Jamaican standards. Sizzla has worked with such artists as Mobb Deep.

Sizzla, along with reggae recording artists such as Capleton, Buju Banton, and Anthony B, are credited with leading a movement toward a re-embracement of Rastafarian values in contemporary reggae music by recording material which is concerned primarily with spirituality, social consciousness, explores common themes, such as Babylon's corrupting influence, the disenfranchisement of ghetto youth, oppression of the black nation and Sizzla's abiding faith in Jah and resistance against perceived agents of oppression. Sizzla has over 40 full completed albums sold in record stores to date, the most popular which have been "Black Woman & Child" and "Da Real Thing" on the Digital B label, "Praise Ye Jah" on Xterminator, and "Rise to the Occasion" on Greensleeves.

Recently, however, he has come under fire for the homophobic content of many of his lyrics, and the advocacy of violence against gays.
