After the Love Lyrics

After the love has goneSome kids, only sweet sixteen
Think they're really tough
You could give them everything
It wouldn't be enoughMothers crying all alone
What did I do wrong?
Raising up a family
You've got to be so strongAfter the love has gone
How can we carry on?
After the love has gone
How can we carry on?Father is a broken man
He drinks to forget
He's searching for the higher gound
But he ain't found it yetEveryday just like the last
Poverty and lust
So hateful of the richer man
Because he ain't like usAfter the love has gone
How can we carry on?
After the love has gone

What used to be right is wrong
Like walking into a stormWalking into a stormStrangled by religion
Those that still believe
When you don't have nothing
The lord he will relieveTelevision lifestyle
People come on down
Welcome to the future
Your feet won't touch the ground
Your feet won't touch the groundAfter the love has gone
How can we carry on?
After the love has gone
What used to be right is wrong
Like walking into a storm

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

George Alan O'Dowd (born June 14, 1961, in London, United Kingdom), a Irish/British singer, songwriter & DJ who gained fame with his group Culture Club during the 80s. He epitomized the term "blue-eyed soul" and received just as much airplay on R&B radio stations as pop stations. George's androgynous style caught the attention of music executive Malcolm McLaren, who arranged for George to perform with the group Bow Wow Wow, featuring Annabella Lwin, at various shows. George called himself Lieutenant Lush and nearly stole the spotlight from Lwin.
