Agreement Lyrics

Watching the world
From our window of life
Can we see all there is
That is real
That is right
To the distance so far
From our true understanding
Making us want more
Making us see lessThe fire
Making me clear
Making me fly
Spinning me 'round around
Spinning me 'roundThe fire within your eyes
This mystic time
I've known before
Once before
The flame within my heart
Agreements made

Are now realized
Like beforeSpeaking of worlds
Driven far far apart
How the innocence
Crushes the nature of things
To the point that we lose
All we're trying to gain
Making us want more
Making us see lessThe fire
Making us clear
Making us fly
Spinning us 'round around
Spinning us 'roundThe fire within your eyes
This mystic time
I've known before
Once before
The flame within my heart
Agreements made
Are now realized
Like beforeThe fire
Making us clear
Making us fly
Spinning us 'round around
Spinning us 'roundThe flame
Making us clear
Making me fly
Spinning me 'round around
Spinning me 'roundAgreements of Trust
Agreements of Faith
Agreements of Truth
Agreements of Love
Agreements of Liberty
Agreements set you free

Kitarō (喜多郎, born February 4) is a Japanese musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist who is regarded as a pioneer of new age music. Kitaro was born in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, Japan and is a graduate of Toyohashi Commercial High School. After graduating, Kitaro moved to Tokyo to experience and become a part of the music scene, and it was there that he discovered the synthesizer. His first synthesizer was analog, and he recalls having “just loved the analog sound that it made compared to today's digital sound”.
