Classically trained violinist-come-club-producer and esteemed member of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Chieko Kinbara debuts this dynamic EP on Nite Grooves with a slew of worldwide contributors, each bringing their own distinct flavors to create these 2 diverse soulful singles. San Fran mega-producer & DJ Kaskade brings forth the first “If You Only”, having produced the single, along with Finn Bjarnson, as well as providing a sumptuous subsequent remix. Chieko is of course providing the violin & viola and vocals are by Swedish chanteuse Joslyn. Farplane Records head and extraordinary Swedish House Music producer Rasmus Faber also comes on board for a remix, coordinating this musical masterpiece with Bass by Mad Midget, Percussion by Thomas Eby, Guitar by Mats Billinger and Rasmus himself on Keyboards & Drum Programming. These same musicians find themselves contributing their talents to the follow-up single “Stay with Me”, which Rasmus produced but this time the vocalist is LS. A fusion of vibrant classical strings, Latin and World-beat percussion, soulful House melodies and bumpin basslines together create the elegant production on these two future classics, while at the same time showcasing the talents of all the worldly musicians involved in their truest form.
