Akhirha - Arwa

Arwa is currently the only Yemeni pop singer with pan-Arab success, though she hails from the proud culture that brought us such talents as Ofra Haza. She began her career mainly with songs in the Yemeni and Khaliji (Persian Gulf) Arabic dialects. However, with the success of her third and fourth Egyptian Arabic singles, Eineik and Mkhabbi Alaya, she has begun to sing a wider variety of songs. Her latest album, Ghasseb Annak, has songs in the Yemeni, Khaliji, Lebanese, and Egyptian dialects, with traditional ballads as well as genre-bending songs like the hit Yom Wahed.
