Alabama Song Lyrics

Show me the way to
The next whiskey bar
Oh don't ask why, oh don't ask why
Show me the way to the next whiskey bar
Oh don't ask why, oh don't ask why
For if we don't find
The next whiskey bar
I tell you we must die,
I tell you we must die
I tell you, I tell you, I tell you we must dieOh moon of Alabama
We now must say good-bye
We've lost our good o' Alabama
And must have whiskey oh you know why
Oh moon of Alabama
We now must say good bye
We've lost our good o' Alabama
And must have whiskey oh you know whyShow me the way to the next little dollar
Oh don't ask why, oh don't ask why

Show me the way to the next little dollar
Oh don't ask why, oh don't ask why
For if we don't find the next thirty dollars
I tell you we must die,
I tell you we must die
I tell you, I tell you,
I tell you we must dieOh moon of Alabama
We now must say good bye
We've lost our good o' Alabama
And must have whiskey oh you know whyOh moon of Alabama
We now must say good bye
We've lost our good o' Alabama
And must have whiskey, oh you know whyOh moon of Alabama
We now must say good bye
We've lost our good o' Alabama
And must have whiskey oh you know why.

Dalida is a romanisation of داليدا naming at least two singers: 1) "Dalida" was a pseudonym of Iolanda Cristina Gigliotti (1933-1987), also known as يولاندا كريستينا جيجليوتي and, following French naturalisation, Yolanda Gigliotti, was a singer of Italian origin, who made her career in France. She received fifty-five gold records, and was the first female singer to get a diamond disc. Born on the 17th January 1933 in Shoubra, Cairo, Egypt, she was the child of an opera violinist, and was given singing lessons at an early age.
