Alberts Eyes Lyrics

The emotion in a stomach acid is equal to the depth of Albert's eyes
And all of the equations that were mastered belong to average ordinary life
Yeah I know, it's so Natural
Yeah I know, I've been here beforeBut only if I ask you
And maybe not at allWhen you look down and see that you were playing upon the greatest oceanic truth
Yeah I mostly understand what you were saying
And after all there's quite a lot of proofBut only if I ask you
And maybe not at all
It's getting colder in Alaska
But round here it's getting warm

British Sea Power are a four-man indie rock band based in Brighton, England, although three of the band hail originally from Kendal in Cumbria. Their style encompasses sweeping and often epic guitar pop with more visceral, angular and esoteric noises and instruments. Critics have likened their sound to a variety of groups, from The Cure to Pixies. They have released five albums and a number of EPs (most on Rough Trade) since they formed in 2000. The band is currently comprised of: Yan (Jan Scott Wilkinson) - Vocals, guitar
